This is Ashton Deroy speaking as a former Tokyo Smoke Budtender. The scary part is… Drama from the bars in that area. OF COURSE SPILL OVER TO THE CANNABIS SHOPS! We have had experienced where we rejected the service of an intoxicated customer and they lashed out in the shop at Tokyo Smoke.

Overdose crisis: Belleville calls for help from Ontario government

The Overdose Crisis has put Belleville Ontario in a State of emergency. It is time for workers to advocate the worth of their safety. Which means advocating for benefits and staffing. Here is what Workers are going to start needing in Belleville Ontario.

Shift Premiums past 9:00PM at night. To Discourage dangerous night time shifts.
Stores and Restaurants need to be staffed appropriately. In case people are literally attacked by drug addicts and unstable homeless people in Belleville Ontario . No solo staffing in places that could be ATTACKED or ROBBED!
The Town should also be pressuring the continuation of regular Bus Service past midnight. To ensure the safety of people working late in Belleville.
