Belleville Ontario is in ruins. If you have heard my Social Commentary in the past? I have said that Belleville Ontario will be a dysfunctional or not functional economy by 2033. By 2043 I predict Belleville Ontario will be an abandoned town. Kind of like the abandoned towns you see in the Russian Federation. That were badly planned Economies by the Soviet Union.

This is the rubble of a Building Burned down by Homeless people starting illegal street fires. Something no one wants to report in Belleville Ontario. Either cause the Police do nothing or for reasons of Minimal Compassion. You can see this on Pinnacle Street right now.

I would not call Belleville Ontario a place for sandals in the Summer time cause when it isn’t glass? It is literal feces and animal carcasses like you see on Bridge Street East on the way up to Belleville Ontario’s Bayview mall.

The condition of Belleville Ontario really should have people asking.

How did we let it get this bad?

Right now in Belleville Ontario…

1. Meta Employment and Loyalist College are running a Free Work scam
2. Businesses are refusing to comply with the standards set by Ontario Disability act.
3. We have a Transit company that Monopolizes Local transit that either refuses to meet the needs of the community. Or doesn’t have the resources to meet the needs of the community.
4. The town is angry at our Prime Minister as he continues to ignore the needs of Canadians.

Things have got to change in Belleville Ontario in a big way.

We need these Improvements:

1. Fully operational Workplace transit system. As Belleville Ontario mainly has low wage jobs.
2. More Unionized workplaces. To Protect workers from unfair dismissals.
3. Fairness for Nurses working in Public Health
4. Pay for street cleaners on major Commercial Roads. (Even if it means increasing taxes) This should cover Bridge street east, Pinnacle and North Front Street. Our town looks like garbage and it is time we start addressing it. By the way? 5. Less Conservative representation in government. Ryan Williams & Todd Smith . Our town doesn’t have a crisis of Taxation. It has a crisis of Responsible Social and Environmental Governance.
6. Dealing with the Homeless crisis through re-housing policies. Also Policies to get some of these people I.D. Some of them may need help getting a new Birth Certificate. I know I lost I.D. Multiple times when I was Homeless.

It is time for a change Belleville Ontario. It is not a change that is going to come from Right Wing governance and self-interest. Or keep things the same. We will become more alienated and Individualistic than ever. Families will fall apart, people will suffer in Poverty and City Buildings will continue to be burned down.

We aren’t keeping up with North America’s drive for more Unions. Our Press is minimalist and a mockery of itself. We ignore talent in the community such as actresses and media graduates. Meta Employment literally can’t tell the difference between College grads & High School dropouts. It is pathetic.

Disclaimer: We are speculating at this time they use a Libertarian metric to gage freedom. Cause they rank Texas as very Free. Despite Religious Book Bans & discrimination in the workplace. I though since Canada was not divided by Provincial Conservatism the data was unbiassed but Texas being ranked as most Free leaves me with many questions.

You look at our Local News the Intelligencer? It is a minimalist garbage News source. One that is diving in to the worst cultural aspects of Belleville Ontario & saying ‘Let’s embrace this.” My response ‘Let’s not and do better! remember that Vegas is a great place to get murdered and do heroine.” Also you don’t have to describe vocalists as ‘Awesome” The Inteligencer is on a digital platform. Meaning you can post formats of audio in multiple ways. As a digital news source. You should be able to afford good audio integration for your website. I can’t believe I ever wanted to write for them! Ick!

Re: Lobby Higher Governments.

I am just going to call this out right off the bat. Feels like passing the buck as soon as the problem crosses your desk. Not very Mayoral Neil Ellis. However…

What we actually need to do is switch out?

1. Our MPP out with a more Progressive MPP. I am a Registered donor to the Green Party of Ontario. However as I said to my Nurse Brother. ‘I am open to joining a team of Progressive voters to get Todd Smith out.” Cause as much as we bother him. We know Right wing Politicians are hard to move on issues of Poverty. Creating poverty is basically the Conservative way!
2. Have a Protest presence in Our city! People who represent us to say well the rest of us are working. No we are actually not happy with the way things are going. Over by Pinnacle Street has gotten dangerous in Belleville Ontario 2023. We need to make large scale changes and we need to make them now. Tax cuts aren’t going to solve the health and social crisis in our communities.
3. Tell Ryan Williams a Detox Center doesn’t fix homelessness. He is putting his Social values before the needed Economic actions. Which need to be administrative and social supports. Not the implementation of Puritanical ideology. Conservatives need to stop thinking Self Help is the answer to every problem. IT’S NOT!!!!
4. Also Pushback on Neil Ellis about the homeless issue being a Municipal Problem. It is a Municipal Problem & he wasn’t voted in for Politics as usual. Actually I am glad voters are harassing him over this problem. Keep that going!
5. We also have to stop saying that Landlords aren’t the Problem. Landlords are the Problem! Since being an Ontario Renter. I have been blocked from housing by bad credit scores, greedy landlords and experienced a rental situation where someone attempted religious indoctrination on me. We need to regulate this rental market and bring back some basic dignity! There needs to be a penalty for Landlords that worsen the Homeless Crisis through unrealistic rental prices, Evictions and tenant Harassment. I am tired of the lack of accountability for the property owning class!

The homelessness Crisis is going to destroy Belleville Ontario. Literally the part of this post that grabs you. Is the picture of the Building burned to shreds by a Homeless Encampment. The only action has to be massive policy changes, Work that gets people out of poverty and no more 0 incentive job programs at Meta Employment. Social Welfare first. Corporate Welfare dead last! Is the only way forward. Or to put it the Socialist way. People over profits!

More on the Social Collapse and Homeless Crisis in Belleville Ontario. February 6th 2024. There were 14 reported overdoses in 1 hour. In a town some are trying to market as upper middle class. We sure have Ghetto problems. We know the answer here? It has to be expansion of Social Welfare program, Progressive Job Programs and a larger social safety net. Society is attempting to move backwards through Conservative Policy and we are beyond past that. We don’t have Gold Bar problems. We have climate and social problems.
