I love Jillian Michaels and I love getting stoned and listening to Joe Rogan. I have made purchasing decisions because of both of them. Something I bought because of Joe Rogan? Click here to learn Annie Jacobsen on Nuclear war. This podcast, Well Smoking Canadian Weed, was an absolute trip.

Therefore 9 months ago. I decided I was eventually going to tune in to the Joe Rogan Jillian Michaels podcast, and I would watch the full thing. Wow, did it ever piss me off. So much so, I want to write an open letter to this Fitness guru of mine and Joe Rogan.

Dear Joe Rogan and Jillian Michaels,

Subject: We don’t tune in for your medical opinions or opinions on complex topics like Autism or being Transgender.

I think Jillian Michaels and Joe Rogan are two of the most entertaining content creators I consume, from her workouts to his Podcast. I love what they create. I would like it if you, Miss Jillian, and your Mr. Rogan…. Stopped talking about medical topics. You don’t have the professional or moral authority to be qualified for this kind of thing.

I touched on this previously. I graduated with a diploma in Business and Advertising Media. I am allowed to have moral authority opinions on topics of this matter. I just think it is irresponsible to weigh in on things you are not qualified to talk about. It’s ivermectin all over again!

Please, for the love of your non-existent god. Stop!! Just please stop.
As Ashton Deroy, your audience member and consumer. I am asking you to please stop. Produce physical entertainment if you are Jillian. Produce talking entertainment if you are Joe Rogan. You don’t need opinions on medical topics. Or complex topics like being Transgender.

This is the adulting in Politics conversation all over again. It is just not good adult practice. To imitate someone with Professional authority on a topic. Jillian is at most a personal trainer. Joe Rogan is at most an MMA commentator. Please stop weighing in on these important issues. You are in an area you don’t belong. Kind of like Donald Trump as President in 2026.
