Imagine working at a factory? Your tax money is going towards an employment program that makes it easier to replace you.

I have been contacted by disgruntled Elevate Plus participants in Belleville Ontario. Their testimonies of the program include?

1. ‘Neil Dick is an Ableist jerk who picks on disabled people in the classroom.” Thom & Collaborated by me. I have never been in the classroom but upon first meeting Neil Dick. He had a presentation that dared to call Disabled people a drain on the system.
2. ‘I lost my car well participating in Elevate Plus.” Xavier
3. ‘We are creating an education barrier to jobs that don’t require paid or unpaid education.” Ashton Deroy

Doug Ford is championing this program and it is going to be my major contention with yet another Provincial Conservative administration who mishandles labor policies. This social program is a gigantic giveaway to corporations paid for by the little guy. The Taxpayer because from the top down this is an idiot Endorsed program. Meanwhile participants need money to maintain their vehicles, put groceries in their cupboards and pay the rent which is dangerously higher than ever.

No wonder Belleville Ontario’s Manufacturing sector is described as ‘Drove me to smoking crack.” Homeless ex Belleville Ontario Manufacturing worker.

We want this program cancelled. We want it replaced with meaningful paid training. Like we have been pressuring the companies to do for years. The Town and it’s jobs do not all run through the central effort of the College. Let’s not change that. Especially since as I have stated recently. Loyalist College is not doing all good things for the community. It actually causes plenty of harm to the labor force. Meta employment and any agencies supporting this program really need a share of the blame. You don’t have to connect them. You do have to help people. If that is too much work? Maybe don’t do what you do. Cause you are at the intersection of Labor and Social Supports. Not a Corporate giveaway machine that enables ableism bigotry.

I am not mincing words. Unpaid Labor is akin to slavery. Ironically the society that integrates all this unpaid labor and volunteering into the economy? Is frigging relying on either unpaid labor or underpaid labor for many of the goods and services we rely on. Looking at you Nestle. I don’t care if I should be using the words alleged slavery. NO! I am using the words slavery! We need to speak up. Things just keep getting worse and it can’t continue. If we have to hurt people to send a message as the workers? Then maybe that is where we are at. You can’t be having people do what they don’t want to do and they are getting more broke but you used the undue leverage of their desperation in order to force them into a program. That is a complete rip off! This isn’t a college education? What is Loyalist College doing here?

My Conservative Cousin Chris who works for Meta Employment said to just let this go. Oh so dig my teeth in until there is blood? That is what I hear. You must be confused about how I work. I don’t let this crap go. I don’t let Conservatism go. I kill it! Period!!! Conservatism is the enslavement of Labor and it has to die.
