Many in my family can’t define a #Freedom I would agree with. It was more like #Geriatric rule, self-censoring & going along to get along. If you are going to listen to a real statement about Freedom. Listen to someone who is #LGBTQ or a Social Democrat on Freedom. That is true Freedom. In a country where you have something on your head & because of that people think you are from somewhere else. That is not Religious freedom. That is simple bigotry. You should not be associated with some American post 9/11 Hysteria just because you practice a non-Christian & non-Jewish religion. If you are other we break our own conditions for Religious Freedoms promised in our Charter of Human Rights & Freedoms. Except I don’t see things this way. I don’t want to treat people according to their religion. I want to treat them according their intelligence and subjective value based on utility to me. Call me a narcissist. I am motivated by myself and not determining someone else as the OTHER. Then marginalizing based on that. That is a bias this writer proudly admits to and then declares. I am not a monster. I mean this in regards to working poor & non-working poor. We should not force anybody to live in Poverty. However in many ways Belleville Ontario does force people to be poor? What are some examples of how Belleville Ontario is keeping us poor? Limited City bus availability to get people to their low income jobs. The bussing system is directly tied to Belleville Ontario’s ability to employ people in the manufacturing sector. We should be pressuring the bus company to work with manufacturers to revitalize the sector. However it seems like we are set to let it die instead. What else is making Belleville Ontario more poor? “The Stupid population!” Not just talking about people who need to get up get their GEDs or get a job!!! Even the ones that have a job do not contribute enough to lifting the town out of poverty. They continue to support the low income Conservative model of politics. Despite the fact. Conservatives are doing nothing for you!!! Absolutely nothing! They represent corporations that rob our town blind. Like Wal-Mart for example. How many people there are still welfare dependent job wise? The answer is the majority. If they aren’t risking their employment to carry second or third jobs. Lastly we don’t live in a system with Healthcare justice. We still have people losing all of their teeth way too young & people who die of preventable dental infections. This town needs Universal dental & Universal Mental health so we can rehabilitate people and make them productive citizens again. We can’t always count on Immigration to come in and fix our problems in the Labor Shortage. After all most of them are just here for College at the end of the day…

With bad employers as the common. We can’t say no because we have nowhere else to go. We can’t fight back because they tie our hands with unreasonable contracts. We are alienated from Capitalist Prosperity. The only way you can value Capitalism is through personal prosperity. If it doesn’t happen for you. You take a hammer & YOU SMASH THE DAMN SYSTEM! Doesn’t matter if it is Kingston Ontario, Belleville Ontario or the God Damn United States of America. Universal basic income Is a better system than a bunch of people becoming cowards to bad employers. The fact is money you weren’t coerced to earn through leaving your house is more money than the money you worked to earn. I am not saying Universal Basic Income wouldn’t need tweaks to work in the long term, tweaks to avoid malicious manipulation and tweaks to defend it’s existence from a malicious opposition of penny pinchers (Conservatives). However it is better than a system where everyone who can’t work from one of these psychotic dictators we call “Employers” is now Disabled. I am sure people can contribute more to society where people are Universally covered for needs. Than they can contribute to a society that makes them bend the knee to authoritative Capital.
