Kyle Thomson picked up 4.3% of the vote in Belleville Ontario. It is important to me Ashton Deroy to attach a narrative to this.

This post is about Kyle Thomson. For clearly being full of it! Kyle Thomson ran in the 2022 Belleville Ontario Municipal election. He positioned himself as an outsider candidate. We would later reach out to this candidate and ask him if he was open to a Socialist Position on Social issues in Belleville. He would try man-splaining it is not about Socialism…. By your own words on your website. My response “This is also not about empowering an ex member of the manager class to expand their powers.”

Listen Kyle Thomson… It is… It is about empowering workers. Stopping the pay-check to pay-check lifestyles before they become homeless lifestyles & increasing Public Housing. The Socialist Approach needs to be very much on the table. Frankly we’ve had it with unrestrained Capitalism here! The Landlord class is going to eat up our markets & leave nothing left in this town but the transfer of real estate. This is not something a Sales Manager is necessarily going to understand. Also in Belleville Ontario Poorer people do turn up to vote.

Failing to see that. Don’t waste anyone’s time with a campaign in Belleville Ontario! You sir are no outsider! You are a Sales Manager, attached to the Employer class and largely alienated to our Poor people problems. You sir are not outside to the elite. You sir are the epidemy of the elite!

Listen Kyle I got to be honest. I discredited you from a single Facebook comment in the eyes of Progressive Belleville Voters. That is because they know… They know this town is going to hell because of single bottom line focusses, out of control rental prices & lazy people. The fix isn’t going to be a shady sales manager. The fix has to either be someone Liberal or someone more Progressive like a Socialist. The economy is crashing! People are going to die! Let’s get proactive with social programs & fixing houses. Otherwise we are going to end up with one of those towns where no one in town works & no one can run a business successfully.
